Has anyone seen any of the following Filipino-American movies?

Disoriented (1999) is a comedy film about a Filipino-American boy coming of age and his confused family coming to grips with their American dreams. Of the "Gener-Asian X" school of film, this movie is considered the first movie about Filipino-Americans. The director is Francisco Aliwalas.

The Debut
(2001) is a Filipino-American movie starring Dante Basco, Eddie Garcia, Tirso Cruz III, Gina Alajar, Darion Basco, Bernadette Balagtas, Joy Bisco, Brandon Martin & Conrad Cimarra. Directed by: Gene Cajayon. DVD release date: 2003.

American Adobo (2001) stars Christopher de Leon, Ricky Davao, Dina Bonnevie, Cherrie Pie Picache & Paolo Montalban; directed byLaurice Guillen. Filipino college friends now living in New York regularly get together to talk over adobo, the national Filipino dish

I've seen "The Debut" and it's not bad. I'm a big fan of Eddie Garcia and "The Debut" is probably one of the better Film-Am films out there.

"American Adobo", I can't say I like as much. I got it on super discount at Amazon, but I really don't want it on my DVD rack anymore.

Definitely, "The Debut" over "American Adobo."
