Hello. I'd like to welcome you to this site. My name is Carlos Tabora and I am the creator of Fil.Am. I am a songwriter and marketer and live in Orange County, CA. I love music and like to karaoke. These days you'll more likely find me at a karaoke bar than a dance club, but I remember back in the day when I used to hit the clubs all the time. I hope you enjoy and join this site. Hello Everyone! Ako si June. I know you're probably thinking this chick doesn't look Filipina, but let me assure you that I am...50% anyways, but 100% at heart. My mother is Visayan from a small island in Northern Samar, and my father is of Swedish and Irish descent. So, there you go! You all can stop scratching your heads now lol. June, ako si Melody. My father is full blooded Filipino. My mother is Scotch-Irish and German. Not everyone recognized me as being Filipino, so I can totally relate to you. I LOVE being a mestiza, we have a different perspective of our world and heritage. I choose to be all inclusive, of everyone. Nice to meet you here.

Nice to meet everyone on here!... I'm Junnel.... full blooded filipino with a mix of spanish blood, like most pinoys. I was born in the Philippines but came in the U.S. at a very early age. I haven't been back in the Philippines in 21 years!!!
I must say, I've been looking for a site like this... and I'm glad I found it! Let's keep it alive and invite others to join.

Hey everyone, I saw this link on twitter and have pleasantly landed on this site thanks to Carlos. My name is Ryan, nice to meet everyone and I hope to make a few friends here with common interests and enjoy the Filipino culture as much as I do. I go home to the Philippines a lot and I really appreciate who we are and where we come from as well as where we are now as American citizens. Aside from that, I have seen most of the world, and would love to share that experience with everyone at anytime. Most can call me kuya, I am also here to help. =] Mabuhay!
