Meeting up with friends in New York City for Loving Day festivities, I accidentally met up with the Philippine Day Parade. I'd never been before and it was definitely a good time. Immense Filipino pride bloomed on Madison Avenue, including an appearance by New York Senator Chuck Schumer.
